Another day

Not much has been happening lately. Wednesday we went to the Belgium Airforce base to see christophes friend nick get his wings from the airforce. There was a bit of a party and it was good to see nick all suited up and the fighter planes he has been flying before he heads off for 5 weeks to america. Other than that we had a race today in Belg 160km, it was quite a hard course with small roads and one hard climb with a lot of wind. We had two guys in the 18man break, and I spend 30km riding across with 8 other guys just to nearly catch them with 1 km to go, pity it was at the bottom of the 1km hill to the finish. Christophe lead out seppe up the hill and managed 10th with christophe 15th and me 21st. It was a good day racing with around 140 riders. I had good legs but they got a hammering trying to ride across the 1.5min gap to the break. Training has been good and ill now try to rest up for beverbeek on the weekend and another race the day after.
