Although I've been a little sick I still decided to head to the Flemish ardennes with the team for a training camp and to cover some of the bigger climbs. The weather was good
(well as good as it gets for winter)around 4-5degs and dry, which was the main thing!
We covered some good Kilometers and I also got to check out some of the course for the Beverbeek Classic which is my first target of the season. I also Managed to pick up a new Nick name...Graeme Stoned, or Kiwi as I got. The first one was because the boys got me on the stillys on the first night, blimmin sleeping tablets! haha anyway a lot of coffee was drank and also a lot of gutter was also seen as the wind picked up. A yell "links" would come out so often, as the last of the 15riders back would be hurting with no shelter in the gutter haha. A few whistles here and there would be enjoyed from some Belgium women and anything else that keeps you occupied over the course of a 6hr training session....
